View text file content on Linux Fedora using cat command.

   The command example below show how to view text file content on Linux Fedora using cat command.  The cat command, concatenate files and print on the standard output, in our example we display the text file content to the monitor screen.

View file content using cat command.

   The command example below show the content of network configuration file on Linux Fedora 11 that locate under /etc/sysconfig directory.  This file show Linux Fedora networking enable and show hostname for Linux Fedora system. 

[linux@fedora11 ~]$ cat /etc/sysconfig/network

NETWORKING=yes

HOSTNAME=fedora11.linux.org

[linux@fedora11 ~]$
